I love a fabric scrap project, especially when it turns a plain canvas into something completely new. This time, I used strips of fabric, ribbon, star buttons and a paint pen to create an Americana style flag canvas. I love a good scrap wood project, especially when it turns something chunky, leftover and forgotten into cheerful seasonal decor. For this Fourth of July craft, I used some big thick pieces of scrap wood and turned them into fun little firework blocks, complete with painted patterns, metal stars and curly foil “sparkers” coming out of the top.
